Jalon Colbert, a 26-year-old man from Toledo, Ohio, tragically lost his life on May 13, 2022. He was fatally shot in the 2500 block of Lawrence Avenue near Delaware Avenue. Colbert was transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries. Another victim, Javon Ballard, 22, was also shot but survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
