Gino Highsmith, a 67-year-old male from Toledo, OH, tragically lost his life on October 28, 2022. He was one of two victims in a double homicide that occurred in the central part of Toledo. Highsmith and Dennis Washington, 50, were found with critical gunshot wounds at the scene on Junction Avenue. Both victims were transported to the hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. Two other individuals, Donyel Forrest, 47, and Shakeia Johnson, 34, were also shot but survived their injuries.
