Jaden Halpern, a 17-year-old male of mixed ethnicity, tragically passed away on June 10, 2022, in Lima, Ohio. He was fatally shot in the back by his father, David Halpern, while trying to protect him from an attempted robbery at their home. The incident occurred when a group of six teenagers, including minors, attempted to rob Jaden by luring him out of his home.
