William Hinson, a 46-year-old Black man, tragically lost his life on June 30, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred in the Linden area, specifically in the 1000 block of East Hudson Street. Hinson was driving away from an altercation outside the Northland Food Mart when shots were fired at his vehicle. The impact of the gunfire caused Hinson to lose control and crash into a utility pole. Despite immediate medical attention, Hinson was pronounced dead at the scene.
