Jerry Thomas Harper Jr., aged 54, tragically passed away on May 5, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. He was found shot multiple times in the University District, specifically in the 400 block of East 13th Avenue. The Columbus Division of Police responded to reports of a shooting around 8:38 p.m. on May 4, where they discovered Harper with severe gunshot wounds. He was transported to Grant Medical Center but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at 1:55 a.m. on May 5.
