Quincy Jr. Storey, aged 19, was killed on January 24, 2015, in Columbus, Ohio. His murder was part of a broader criminal conspiracy involving the Trevitt and Atcheson Crips gang, also known as the T&A Crips. This gang was active in the King-Lincoln District of Columbus and was known for using intimidation and violence to maintain control over its territory. The gang members engaged in various criminal activities, including murders, attempted murders, drug trafficking, and firearms offenses, in an effort to enforce their rule and retaliate against perceived slights or threats.
The circumstances leading to Quincy Storey's death revolved around his perceived disrespect towards a fallen associate of the T&A Crips subgroup called the Waun Gang. Charles Carson, a member of T&A, shot Storey on South James Road in Columbus, viewing this as an act of retaliation. Carson, along with several others, was later charged as part of a racketeering conspiracy involving the gang, which included multiple murders and other violent acts. Carson eventually pleaded guilty in 2020, accepting responsibility for Storey's murder and was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his role in the gang's activities.
