On October 23, 2015, 24-year-old Samba S. Dia was found fatally shot in the courtyard area of 2321 Fitzroy Place North in Columbus, Ohio. Officers from the Columbus Police Department responded to a report at approximately 10:48 PM of a male found down and unresponsive in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered Dia with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Emergency medical responders from CFD Medic 24 arrived shortly after but pronounced Dia deceased at 10:55 PM.
