Barbara Ann Dickson, a 62-year-old woman from Wilmington, North Carolina, tragically passed away on December 18, 2003. She was shot in the head by her husband, Mr. Dickson, who was 56 years old at the time. The incident occurred in their home on Doe Clearing Court, just west of Masonboro Loop Road in Wilmington. Mrs. Dickson was shot above the right eye with a .22-caliber, hollow-point bullet. She remained in critical condition for some time before succumbing to her injuries.
