Joyce Hoskins, a 47-year-old woman from Wilmington, NC, was tragically shot to death on December 4, 2005. Her husband, Gradie Lee Rhodes, who was on parole for a previous murder conviction, admitted to killing her. Rhodes, a 58-year-old convicted murderer, was sentenced to life in prison without parole after pleading guilty to first-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife.
