Barbara Baker Pitts, a 51-year-old woman from Rosewood, North Carolina, was found dead on October 22, 2008. The circumstances surrounding her death were tragic and deeply unsettling. According to reports, Barbara was the victim of a murder-suicide. Her boyfriend, Thurman Joseph Bradford Jr., aged 57, shot Barbara before turning the gun on himself.
