On the evening of February 7, 2024, the Stokes County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at a residence on Knobview Lane in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 53-year-old Tammy Lynn Hodges deceased inside the home from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency medical services attempted life-saving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
