Thora Dawn Sanders, a 21-year-old woman from Laurinburg, North Carolina, passed away on April 6, 2009. She was pronounced dead at Scotland Memorial Hospital. Thora was survived by her husband, Eurekus R. Pate, and her son, Samier Pate. She was also preceded in death by her son, Savion Pate. Thora's family included her mother, Cynthia A. Austin, her father, Henry Sanders, her sister, Anessah Sanders, and her three brothers, Jaleel Sanders, Jaquan Austin, and Laquan Sanders, all of Laurinburg.
