Michaela Dionne Brewington, a 46-year-old African American woman, was found dead in her home on Pineway Drive in Greensboro, NC, on March 24, 2014. Brewington, who was employed by the United States Postal Service, was one of the victims in a series of violent incidents that occurred on that day. The suspect, Menice Montell Smith, a 41-year-old African American man, was a contract truck driver for the Postal Service and was acquainted with Brewington through their work.
