Patrick Hill, a 37-year-old Detroit police officer, tragically died on October 19, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained during a police operation six months earlier. On April 2, 2013, Officer Hill was involved in a high-speed pursuit of a murder suspect. During the chase, the suspect's vehicle was cornered at an intersection, prompting the suspect to open fire on the officers.
