Cleveland Reid, a 29-year-old resident of San Francisco, was fatally shot on April 24, 2017, near Potrero Hill Park. The shooting occurred around 10:35 a.m. in the 800 block of Missouri Street. Reid was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. This marked the 17th homicide in San Francisco that year. The police reported that a handgun was used in the attack, but no arrests were made at the time, and further details about the motive were not released.
