Travis Donovan Rhodes, a 24-year-old male from Raleigh, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 24, 2014. The incident occurred when Rhodes' Ford Mustang swerved across oncoming traffic on Raleigh's Capital Boulevard before coming to a stop on the shoulder. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Rhodes had been shot in the torso. He was immediately taken to WakeMed, where he succumbed to his injuries.
