Ramon Antonio Shaw, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 20, 2014, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Shaw was found lying on the ground after being shot outside Rumors Nightclub on West South Street in the early morning hours. Despite being rushed to WakeMed Hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The incident also resulted in injuries to another individual, 30-year-old Joshua Jamar Vines, who was treated for gunshot wounds.
