Shanekqua Adrianna Thompson, a 21-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 31, 2014, in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She was found shot to death inside a minivan that had crashed into a wooded area near Sixth Street and Humphrey Street just after 3 a.m. Police responded to a report of shots fired and discovered Thompson's vehicle riddled with bullets, having been struck eight times.
