Malia K. Porter, a 15-year-old girl from Goldsboro, NC, tragically died on January 13, 2014. The circumstances surrounding her death were deeply distressing and left the community in mourning. Malia, along with her 16-year-old boyfriend Spenser Terry Garrison, was involved in a double suicide that shocked their high school and the wider community.
