In the early hours of June 27, 2024, at approximately 2:39 a.m., the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 300 block of Hollowell Avenue in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, officers discovered 35-year-old Adreanna Lewis suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.
