Kelly Wilkerson, a 41-year-old African American male from Raleigh, North Carolina, was fatally shot on October 17, 2015, outside the Bill Ellis Convention Center in Wilson, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a motorcycle club's 10-year anniversary event, which both Wilkerson and the shooter, Stephen Maddox Jr., attended separately.
