Michael Antoine Jefferies Jr., a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 10, 2016, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in East Charlotte, where Michael was pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the call and identified Michael as the victim. His family was notified of his untimely death, and funeral services were held at Shiloh Institutional Baptist Church.
