Thomas Durane Evans, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 3, 2016, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident began with a dispute between Thomas Evans and Joseph Cason, a 22-year-old male, in the parking lot of a Food Lion along Raeford Road. The altercation quickly escalated into a high-speed chase, with Cason pursuing Evans in separate vehicles.
