On a December evening in New Orleans, a dispute over a parking spot escalated into a fatal encounter that claimed the life of 24-year-old Daniel Millon. The incident unfolded on December 28, 2015, at the Hidden Lake Apartments in the 7000 block of Martin Drive. Millon and his friend, Vernon Lewis, also 24, were visiting a friend at the complex and had parked their motorcycles in a walkway near the apartment of Ahmad Rainey.
