In the Plum Orchard neighborhood of New Orleans, a burst of gunfire on March 12, 2022, tragically cut short the life of 26-year-old Louis AuQuinn Gilbert. A Black male, Gilbert was found shot in the chest and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Remembered by loved ones as passionate and supportive, he was known to his friends and family by the nickname "Quinn" or "Scotty Loc."
