Corey L. Baptiste, a 36-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 29, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in Central City, at the intersection of South Derbigny and Josephine streets. Corey Baptiste was one of two male victims who were shot at the scene. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital, where Corey Baptiste succumbed to his injuries.
