On June 15, 2016, Tyrone Smith, a 58-year-old man from Winston-Salem, NC, was tragically shot and killed in his home. The incident occurred in the late afternoon when police were called to the scene on Whitford Place Court. Smith was found shot and was immediately taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
