On October 8, 2024, at approximately 12:48 p.m., Winston-Salem Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 750 block of Clemmonsville Circle. Upon arrival, they discovered 50-year-old Anthony Jerome Roseboro lying in the front yard of a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services transported Roseboro to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
