Phillip Tyrone Legette Jr., a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 31, 2020, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 2:01 a.m. when police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting in the area of 118 Charleston Court. Upon arrival, officers found a large crowd of about 30 people, most of whom were leaving the scene.
