Dakarius Dion Williams, a 15-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2020, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early afternoon, just before 1:15 p.m., when Dakarius was shot while standing on a sidewalk along Cleveland Avenue. The shooting took place in a busy area, and a large crowd quickly gathered at the scene.
