In the late hours of a Friday night in Wichita, Kansas, a dispute in a Wendy's drive-through escalated into a fatal encounter for Pleasure T. Coleman Sr., a 35-year-old Black male. On October 14, 2022, what began as an argument over food or the wait time in the line of cars would end in a shootout that claimed his life.
