Shawn Ray Baldwin, a 35-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on May 25, 2017, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The incident occurred at an apartment complex located at 940 Manly Street. Police responded to the scene at approximately 8:34 p.m. and found Baldwin suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the parking lot. He was immediately transported to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
