Treshawn Plater, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on December 14, 2021. The incident occurred just after midnight on Thorntons Way. Police responded to reports of a shooting and found Plater lying unresponsive in the breezeway of a building, suffering from a gunshot wound.
