On June 23, 2024, at approximately 12:26 a.m., Winston-Salem police responded to reports of a shooting on the 2000 block of Starlight Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Among them was 18-year-old Angelo Delacruz Calleja, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victims included 54-year-old Rosa Medina, 51-year-old Oscar Lopez, and 32-year-old Higinio Lopez; all three were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. ...Read More
