Christopher Dasean Jones, a 23-year-old Black male, was tragically shot and killed in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on March 28, 2014. His death was part of a disturbing trend of violence in the city, which had already seen six homicides that year, all involving young Black males. Jones was shot just steps from his front door, making him the city's third homicide victim of the year. The murder remains unsolved, and no arrests have been made in connection with his death.
