Diana Medelin Ibarra-Luna, a 22-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on August 13, 2016, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The incident occurred outside Mambo Sports Bar on New Hope Church Road. Diana Medelin Ibarra-Luna and Felipe Nerve Gonzalez Arrellano, also 22, were both shot at approximately 4:30 a.m. outside the bar. While Gonzalez Arrellano was treated and released from WakeMed, Diana Medelin Ibarra-Luna succumbed to her injuries.
