Delma Devon Adams, a 33-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on February 2, 1980, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Known as "Jimmy" to his friends, Adams was a dedicated police officer who had served the Raleigh Police Department for 13 years. On the night of his death, Officer Adams was making a DUI arrest.
