Raheem Shawdo Hammond, a 35-year-old Black man, tragically lost his life on December 15, 2016, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the Hidden Valley neighborhood, where a shootout took place. Police responded to the scene on Spring Garden Lane at approximately 7:17 p.m. and found multiple individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Raheem Hammond was pronounced dead at the scene.
