Keith Dewayne Watson, a 36-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 25, 2017, in High Point, North Carolina. The incident occurred near Montlieu Avenue of Technology, an elementary school, which led to the school being placed on lockdown for the safety of the students. High Point police responded to the scene at 11:51 a.m. and found Watson lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
