Shawn E. Mitchell Jr., a 26-year-old African American male from Winston-Salem, NC, tragically lost his life on March 10, 2019, in High Point, NC. According to the High Point police, Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, and two women were also injured in the shooting.
