Billy Ray Bare, a 39-year-old man from Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on May 20, 2017. His death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred at a home in Lexington. On the evening of May 20, Davidson County sheriff's deputies were called to the scene around 7:30 p.m. They found Billy Ray Bare deceased and another man, aged 24, injured. The injured man's name was not released.

The suspect in the shooting was identified as 27-year-old Patrick Alan McCoy, also from Lexington. ...
