On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, 21-year-old Omarion Scott, a Black/African American male from Lexington, North Carolina, was found fatally wounded inside a warehouse at Johnson Concrete Products on Burgin Drive. Officers who responded around 5:30 p.m. discovered that 21-year-old Omarion Scott had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and he died at the scene despite emergency efforts.
