Ellis Coleman Sr., a 57-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 19, 2022, in Lexington, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the central Davidson area of Davidson County, where deputies responded to a call reporting a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Ellis Coleman Sr. with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
