Larry Todd Cook, a 30-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on January 27, 2000, in Lexington, North Carolina. Cook, who served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office, was shot and killed while attempting to serve a misdemeanor trespassing warrant. The incident occurred when Cook went alone to the suspect's home to serve the warrant.
