Kamari Munerlyn, a 7-year-old African American boy from Durham, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on June 4, 2017. Kamari was a passenger in an SUV returning from a pool party when the vehicle was targeted in a shooting. The incident occurred near Hillandale Road and Peppertree Street, where the SUV was shot into multiple times.
