Carl Suitt Jr., a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in the early morning hours of June 30, 2017, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred at McDougald Terrace, a neighborhood known for its high levels of violence. The shooting was reported around 6 a.m. on Dayton Street, where responding officers found Suitt Jr. with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
