On the morning of April 2, 2022, Jamie L. Joiner, a 30-year-old white female, was fatally shot outside her residence in rural Collinsville, Illinois. Her 34-year-old sister, Jessica Joiner, also a white female, who had traveled from California to assist Jamie in moving out of the home she shared with her estranged boyfriend, was also killed.
