Alton Fitzgerald Williams, a 52-year-old African American male, was tragically found deceased on August 18, 2017, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Green was charged with first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. At the time of his arrest, Green was also found in possession of a stolen handgun, leading to an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Green, like the other suspects, was held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center.
