Laquarius Devontanious Dove, a 28-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed outside his home in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on March 8, 2025. Dove, a father of three and a technician for Mercedes-Benz, had just returned home from work when the incident occurred. Cumberland County deputies responded to a call on Pebble Drive in Fayetteville and discovered Dove in his car, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
