Jaquan McBryde, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 25, 2017, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the area of Knotty Elm Loop and Bending Birch Lane in the LaFayette Park subdivision. On the night of the shooting, Fayetteville police officers responded to reports of gunshots and found McBryde deceased at the scene.
